Don't .... |
We Do .... |
|
1) Strive to perfect yoga postures executed by
models. Yoga is not about glamorous beauty
contest or fashion show. Every individual has a
specific disposition towards certain posture and
your goal here is to discover your own body.
|
1) Teach you to work towards excelling in
coordinating your body, mind and breath. When
full coordination is achieved, this is your very
own beautiful and perfect posture, some will
look even better than the models!
|
|
2) Cramp people in to maximize space, time and
resources. When you are focusing to groom a
posture, the worst thing that can happen is when
somebody accidentally brushed on your hair or
knees. |
2) Allow you to have enough soothing space,
quality time and real attention to focus just on
your yoga practice. When you have appreciated
deeper levels of silence, you will enjoy what
you see about yourself. |
|
3) Believe in mirrors to see yourself doing
yoga. Mirrors are useful in ballets and dressing
up. |
3) Believe in you putting awareness within to
feel your body executing the postures. Mirrors
bring the awareness out; it is a major
distraction in Yoga. |
|
4) Sell you annual membership to a Yoga club. We
are not interested in you becoming a member of
anything. |
4) Get you to pay a fee to commit yourself to a
structured, organized and graded class with a
small group of friends and good company. |
|
5) Encourage glamorizing any fad that is
sweeping the world, including the Yoga fad. When
you stir the outer expressions of a fad, you
will get the shell without the meat, and very
likely, an emptier pocket. |
5) Want to deliver wellness in your life. At
Beth's Yoga, we do this by giving you the
essential knowledge and wholesome practice of
Yoga. Starting from your body, you will become
somebody. |
